The Restoration Process
Unless your top was restored by Cars Inc within the past two decades, it will need a full 4 stage restoration.
Generally, the interior reinforcement is worn out and crumbling.
STAGE 1 - TARGA TOP RECOVER - TARGA TOP REPAIR
STAGE 2 - TARGA TOP RESTORATION WITH MINOR REPAIR
STAGE 3 - TARGA TOP RESTORATION WITH MAJOR REPAIR
STAGE 4 - HEADLINER - Install updated/improved headliner
Restoration (all four stages) - $1,995 (the majority of tops need this level of repair)
FREE RETURN SHIPPING NATIONWIDE WITH A PRE-PAID ORDER
Examples of extra cost items: side seals, rain gutters, broken frame, holding clips
*Note: '67-'69 and '90 - '94 slightly higher (+ $200)

The Restoration Process
Unless your top was restored by Cars Inc within the past two decades, it will need a full 4 stage restoration.
Generally, the interior reinforcement is worn out and crumbling.
STAGE 1 - TARGA TOP RECOVER - TARGA TOP REPAIR
- Disassemble - Inspect for cracks, breaks or bent items
- Repair as necessary (no add'l charge for minor parts and trim)
- Clean, sand and repaint frame
- Recover with authentic Germany vinyl
STAGE 2 - TARGA TOP RESTORATION WITH MINOR REPAIR
- Perform level 1 rebuild as above
- Remove old burlap and foam reinforcement material
- Clean frame
- Replace reinforcement and foam material
STAGE 3 - TARGA TOP RESTORATION WITH MAJOR REPAIR
- Perform level 1 rebuild
- Perform level 2 restoration
- Remove webbing material
- Level and re-align aluminum ribbing
- Rivet new webbing material into place
STAGE 4 - HEADLINER - Install updated/improved headliner
- This is the double cloth version designed for superior noise dampening
Restoration (all four stages) - $1,995 (the majority of tops need this level of repair)
